- Informed Consent Summary—The team will obtain a total of two informed consent documents from any human services agencies in your community (there are many on the internet). As a team, critique the two documents for content and thoroughness. The critiques should include comments regarding how well the document meets the elements of informed consent found in the text.
- Four elements of informed consent
- Competence (of the consumer/client)
- Voluntariness
- Full information
- Comprehension
- Submit copies of the informed consent documents along with;
- A summary of each team members critiques, including the goals of the organization. Be prepared to informally report on these in class.
- Prepare the Learning Team Log.
